Description

The United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) intends to award a sole-source purchase order in the amount of $90,084.00 for maintenance service for Hanel Rotomat units to REMCO Business Systems, Inc., 3350-C Patuxent River Road, Davidsonville, MD in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source. No RFP will be issued as a result. The requirement is as follows: The objective is to acquire a maintenance service agreement for Hanel Rotomat units with REMCO Business Systems, Inc. REMCO is the only authorized vendor able to provide the proper technical support for the mechanical storage units and interfaced database located at the Boyers, PA facility. As the only authorized dealer in the area, they are the only one who are properly trained by Hanel, the manufacturer of the devices, and as such, are the only one who can obtain replacement parts from the manufacturer.
