- Description
- The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing twenty-one (21) riser pipe grade control structures in Marshall County, Mississippi. Principal features of work include clearing and grubbing, excavation, fill, control of water, engineering fabric, stone protection, corrugated metal pipe, reforestation, erosion control, lime treatment, welding, concrete work, and using the Government-furnished software (RMS) for electronic exchange of information and management of the contract (See Section 01312 QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM), complying with all requirements of Section 01452 MILESTONE COMPLIANCE REVIEW PROCEDURE (MCRP), storm water pollution prevention and environmental protection. All units of measure are English. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available only on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) at http://www.fbo.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Bidders are encouraged to check often for changes (AMENDMENTS) to posted solicitations. Issue date on or about 17 June 2009. Bid Opening date and time: 04 Aug 2009, 1400 hours. This procurement is a total HUBZone setaside and issued under NAICS Code 237990, FSC Code Y299, for a firm fixed price Contract. Funds are currently available for this acquisition. No contract award will be made until appropriated funds are made available.
