Description
This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis/Request for Information (RFI). This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the government. The following information is provided to assist potential contractors who have the skills, experience, and knowledge required to successfully complete this endeavor. OO-ALC, Hill AFB, UT intends to award a one (1) contract with a four (4) year option clause to support the USAF to complete Transient Alert services on all aircraft not assigned to Hill AFB including: arrival services, process services, departure services, PDM aircraft incoming services, in-flight emergency services, crash recovery, aircraft de-icing, and snow removal. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to complete the Transient Alert services. Sources are being sought for potential offerors to successfully complete the effort in accordance with USAF PWS. Contractors will be required to comply with Service Contract Act (SCA) FAR 22.1, requests for labor rates in accordance with Federal Department of Labor (DOL) standards. Potential offerors are requested to provide an executive summary; relevant history and evidence of past performance/capability to perform the tasking not to exceed 10 pages. Information submitted should be pertinent and specific to that which is indicative of the offeror's capabilities to successfully perform this effort. A vendor point of contact, including an email address must be included in your response. Also include your company's socioeconomic status and identify any business classifications applicable such as large, small, 8(a), woman owned, Hub-zone, or other small disadvantaged businesses as defined in FAR 19. The government does NOT intend to contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for the information solicited herein. Interested parties are requested to submit the aforementioned summary to Sarah Hatch, 6038 Aspen Avenue, Bldg 1289 NE, Hill AFB, UT 84056-5805 or via e-mail provided no later than June 10, 2009 at 4 pm Mountain Standard Time. No telephone responses will be accepted.
