The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Order under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-07-G-0015 to Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. This order will provide for the procurement of spare and repair parts and special test equipment for the Dual Mode Laser Guided Bomb (DMLGB). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of DMLGBs. Accordingly, Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is the only known qualified, responsible source that can fulfill the requirements specified herein.
