- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. OFFERS OR PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. THIS IS NOT A PRESOLICITATION OR SOLICITATION. The work consists of the Contractor furnishing all engineering, labor, equipment, and materials to perform the work required, in strict accordance with the specifications to accomplish the following: Rebuild/repair of the potable water pumping, treatment and storage system at Clear Air Force Station, Alaska. Work involves replacement of all piping, valves, metering, chemical injection, and storage tanks starting with the deep well pump and motor. A complete deep well pump and drive motor will be provided to the Contractor as Government Furnished Property (GFP). Prior to demolition of the system, the Contractor shall refurbish the existing backup system located in the Clear Air Force Station Power Plant. Hazardous material work consists of demolition of lead base painted hardware and asbestos abatement of hydro-pneumatic storage tanks and piping. In responding to this Sources Sought Notification, please indicate if your business is a SBA Certified Section 8(a) Program Participant, SBA Certified Historically Underutilized Zone (HUB Zone) Firm, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business or a combination of these.
