- Description
- RECOVERY This repair work is for the Rock Island Arsenal heat plant. The project includes replacement of expansion joints in the bag house duct work and boiler breeching as well as the replacement of the economizers. The work includes repair and/or replacement of the gas shields as required and the replacement of insulation between the gas shield and the expansion joints. Replace inlet and outlet flexible connectors and their gas shields for the ID fans. This firm fixed price task order was awarded under Contract W52H09-08-D-5005 which was awarded under full and open competition using best value source selection procedures to Russell Construction Co. Inc. of Davenport, Iowa on August 21, 2008. The design build and construction services awarded under this contract include the type of work designated in this synopsis.
