Description
RECOVERY--RECOVERY. Work for this contract consists of lying out and installing approximately five (5) miles of stationing signs at intervals of 250 feet at the Cochiti Lake Project, Sandoval County, New Mexico. Stationing shall correspond with locations as shown on Project drawings and the signs shall read 0+00, 2+50, 5+00, 7+50, 10+00, etc. The signs shall be securely bolted with galvanized bolts and lock washers to the existing guard rails. With the exception of the 0+00 signs, which shall be placed on the roadway and embankment sides of the guard rails, placement of the signs shall alternate between the outside and the inside of the guard rails. At locations where the signs are placed on the roadway side of the guard rail, one sign shall be attached to the downstream guardrail. At locations where the signs are placed on the embankment sides of the guard rails, one sign shall be attached to each guard rail. The signs shall be fabricated of steel and shall be durable and weather resistant. The background and numbering shall be painted in reflective, contrasting colors (green background and white numbering) and the stationing shall be legible to the unaided eye from a distance of 100 feet. Contract duration is 30 calendar days. NAICS Code 237310 with a size standard of $33.5 Million. Approximate issue date for the solicitation is 3 June 2009 and approximate closing date is 15 June 2009 at 2:00PM MDT. This project is a part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. Project documents will be available on the web only.
