Description
RECOVERY THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER GSA SCHEDULE 874-1. It is important to note that this project is funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 (Public Law 11-5) (Recovery Act). This procurement follows the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405-2 and FAR 8.405-1. This opportunity is available only to solicited contractors under GSA Schedule 874-1. This study is being procured using the Multiple Award Schedule Program, also known as the Federal Supply Schedule program or the GSA Schedules Program. In accordance with GSA's Acquisition Letter V-09-01, dated April 9, 2009 (Titled: American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Implementation ), Multiple Award Schedule orders under 8.405-1 and 8.405-2 are considered competitive for the purpose of reporting rationales under the Recovery Act. The General Services Administration (GSA) has a bona-fide need for professional services of a contractor to develop a comprehensive Program of Requirement (POR) for GSA's National Office Modernization Project. The General Services Administration intends to award a firm fixed price task order for a Program of Requirement. This work will generally involve (1) project initiation, (2) data collection and inventory, (3) existing space situation report, (4) space requirements report, and (5) performance specifications.
