- Recovery - Student/Resident Experiences and Rotations in Community Health (SEARCH) Program NAICS Code: 611310 Colleges, Universities, and Professional Schools The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is seeking proposals from organizations who can provide services in support of the SEARCH program(s) and to strengthen systems of care in underserved communities through the development of links between community-based sites and academic institutions. The main goal of the SEARCH program is to provide opportunities for health professions students and residents to serve on multidisciplinary health care teams in underserved communities throughout the United States and its territories. The objectives of the SEARCH Program are to: 1) assist the Bureau in its recruitment and the retention efforts of health care professionals for service; 2) facilitate and strengthen the bond of community-academic linkages and define these linkages. In order to accomplish these objectives, SEARCH will: 1) develop linkages between community- oriented sites and academic institutions so that students can implement classroom experiences in a health care setting; 2) provide opportunities for students and residents to train on multidisciplinary health care teams; 3) nurture the development of culturally competent, community focused primary and allied health care providers; and 4) expand Statewide partnerships including the State Primary Care Association (PCA), State Primary Care Office (PCO), Office of Rural Health (ORH), professional associations, academic institutions, and Area Health Education Centers (AHECs) will form a network of organizations to meet the diverse primary care needs of the underserved. It is anticipated that the Government with award multiple fixed priced contracts for one year with two one year options resulting from this requirement. These awards will be made utilizing American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding to support HRSA's Bureau of Clinician Recruitment and Services ARRA efforts. The Government is competitively soliciting proposals for this requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 611310. A solicitation for these services will be posted at this site on or about 15 days from the date of this notice. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for postings and amendments to the solicitation. The Agency will consider proposals from all responsible sources. This requirement is a result of funding provided under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. All information submitted in response to this announcement must arrive in this office by the date specified in the Solicitation.
