Description
NASA/NSSC has a requirement for a course entitled Applied Project ManagementGraduate Certificate Program.The objective of this training is to provide graduatelevel curriculum for an Applied Project Management Graduate Certificate delivered onsiteat the NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA as well as providing mentoringsupport directly related to this program. The vendor shall be responsible for providingall training materials to include any necessary software, textbooks or workbooks. Thevendor shall deliver a graduate certificate program comprised of four modules which earnthe participant graduate credit that can be applied towards a masters degree in projectmanagement. The program shall provide a unique combination of hands-on projectmanagement development with a space domain focus explicitly derived from NASA projectmanagement procedures, policies, practices and requirements including NASAs NPR 7120.5.NASA/NSSC intends to purchase the above curriculum from Stevens Institute of Technology,School of Systems and Enterprises, Hoboken, NJ 07030. Pursuant to FAR 13.106, theacquisition of these services has been determined to be reasonably available from onlyone source. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon June 16, 2009. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.Capabilities and qualifications should be submitted to Megan Willis atMegan.M.Willis@nasa.gov.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
