Description
Andersen AFB has a requirement for renovating Flightline AMU Design Build AJJY 09-1061A Renovate Flightline AMU, Andersen AFB The work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, quality control, and supervision, in performing all operation to Renovate Flightline Aircraft Maintenance Unit B2510, Andersen AFB, Guam: A) the project is intended to design and renovate the existing Flightline Alert facility, without disrupting or polluting the adjacent area. B) The area upon which the structure is located has light vegetation and grass. Upon satisfactory environmental clearance by the government, removal of vegetation, grading and leveling shall be performed by the contractor in preparation for any construction. C) The conditioned storage addition structure shall be of concrete design and construction capable of withstanding seismic and wind loads in accordance with all applicable building roof slabs shall be incorporated into the design. D) The conditioned storage addition will require at least forced air systems. E) The renovation shall include the following items per room shown on attached drawing and removal from the facility. The entire electrical system for facility will be renovated, to include central panels, outlets, switches and all wiring. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 236220 with a Size Standard of $33.5 M. We contemplate awarding a Firm-Fixed Price contract. Contract award would be based on Best Value using Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT) procedures. This requirement is 100 percent set aside for HUBZone small business concerns program. Pre-proposal conference and site visit is tentatively scheduled for 23 June 2009. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction project is between $1,000,000 and 5,000,000.00 IAW FAR 36.204 (h). All interested parties should register in Federal Business Operations and subscribe to receiver procurement announcements related to this solicitation. Prospective contractors are responsible to visit the site periodically for any changes/updates to the solicitation that may occur, as no paper copies would be issued.
