Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business
Description: Contractor shall clean the Isis statue and plaques so as to remove accumulated accretions, dirt and wax residue, using museum approved methods (e.g., blasting with walnut shells, pressure cleaning with water) that will not cause damage to the metal being cleaned. Any detergents or other cleaning materials used shall be non-reactive with the elements of the items being cleaned, and will have no major impacts on the environment.Contractor shall then repatinate and paint the items as necessary. Contractor shall then apply a clear protective coating to the items which will provide protection from the elements without detracting from the items' appearance. The materials used will not cause any short-term or long-term damage to the items, all of which are bronze. In addition, the contractor will clean stains and other accretions from the concrete pedestal of the Isis statue.NAICS: 561790. Request for Quotation will be issued as son as possible.
