Description
The U.S. Department of Labor is seeking to contract with Registred Nurses, intermittently and part-time in Idaho, Oregon, and Washingon State, to coordinate medical management of injured Federal workers. The period of performance for such conraccts will be 2 years plus 3 one year options. Minimum requirements are: Applicable state licensure, 2 years case management experience, and 2 years medical-surgical experience. Applicants must have computer skills and provide their own personal computers and Internet connectivity to work on cases. Due to privacy concerns, use of public access computers or public access internet is not acceptable. The reimbursmenet rate is $75.00 per hour for professional time and $37.50 per hour for administrarive/travel time. A 1-2 day Certification Training in Seattle (September, 2009) is manadatory. No reimbursement for travel or lodging for the Certification Training is provided. Applicants slected as Contract Field Nurses will be subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 in all matters related to Federal employees and Federal employee records. Federal employees and nurses working as contractors for other Federal agency nurse intervenion return to work programs are precluded from applying.
