Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE ON A SOLE SOURCE BASIS WITH : Honeywell Building Solutions,West Valley, UT 84120, phone :, 2371 S Presidents Dr., Suite A, 801 978-7220.THIS IS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF Consolidation of Fire Alarm Panel/Devices in Teaching Trailer with the LSTF Main Fire Alarm Panel Doors 501 & 912 New Doors, Hardware, Electrical & Installation PURSUANT TO 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( C ) (1), ONLY ONE RESPONSIBLMNE SOURCE, AND FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION 6.302-1, SUPPLIES, SERVICES AND/OR EQUIPMENT ARE AVAILABLE FROM ONE RESPONSIBLE SOURCE AND NO OTHER TYPE OF SUPPLIES, SERVICES AND/OR EQUIPMENT WILL SATISFY AGENCY REQUIREMENTS. U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Directorate of Contracting is contemplating the procurement of the following: Task 1: Doors 501 & 912 New Doors, Hardware, Electrical & Installation: The contractor shall supply the following as part of this project:1.Two (2) new doors sized to for the existing frames.2.Two sets of door hardware to meet the specific locking / unlocking requirements of these doors. 3.Installation of the doors on site. The hardware will be pre-mounted prior to delivery to the site.4.Install of the required electrical wiring and terminations to energize the locking mechanism.Task 2: Consolidation of Fire Alarm Panel/Devices in Teaching Trailer with the LSTF Main Fire Alarm Panel. Honeywell will supply the following as part of this task:Pull necessary wire from the current Honeywell FS90 panel, located in the 500 hallway, to the devices located in the training trailers. This wire will terminate inside the existing fire alarm panel located in the trailers. 1.Upgrade/Replace the following devices. This is required to utilize addressable devices that can easily be added to the existing Honeywell FS90 fire alarm panel that monitors the Life Science Test Facility.a. Five (5) Smoke Detectors, b. Two (2) Monitor Modules, c.One (1) Water Flow Switch. D.One (1) Heat Detector. E.Five (5) Pull Stations, f.Install the following new devices to tie the remote fire alarm panel into the main panel.g. One (1) power supply to control the existing horn/strobe loop from them main panel.h.One (1) control module to provide alarm indication to the main panel in case of a life safety.event.2.Programming and verification of all new devices into the existing FS90 panel.Update system architecture and fire alarm evacuation plans will be provided at the completion of the project.The requiring activity for this requirement is the West Desert Test Centers (WDTC) Life Sciences Division.This requirement can be performed by only one source, Honeywell Building Solutions, West Valley, UT 84120, 2371 S Presidents Dr., Suite A. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Supporting evidence must be furnished to demonstrate the ability to comply with the governments requirements. The solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ).
