Description

The Department of Commerce/National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) will be hosting an Industry Day/Business Fair for vendors on Wednesday July 8, 2009 at NIST located at 100 Bureau Drive, Building 101, Gaithersburg, MD 20899-1070. The Fair will be from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (EST). This Industry Day/Business Fair is intended to allow vendors to market their capabilities and products to the NIST community and learn how to do business with the federal government. All vendors are welcome, however, there is only space for 35 vendors to present and demonstrate their products. The vendor space selection will be based on a first-to-register basis. Due to the limited space only three vendors from a commodity will be allowed to present and demonstrate their products. All other vendors who participate will be able to still handout their capability portfolios and meet with the NIST community. Attendance is limited to no more than three individuals per organization. Please be advised, for security reasons, attendees who have not pre-registered will not be admitted to the Industry Day/Business Fair. NOTE: This is NOT a “bidders conference” and this announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government will not assume liability for costs incurred by any offeror for presentations, travel, marketing efforts or data offered for examination, therefore, the cost of preparing information in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government.
