Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health treatment services, within a Five-Mile radius from the halfway house, located at 3190 Springhill Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32035. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period estimated to begin on October 1, 2009 with four (4) one-year option periods, with service ending (if all options years are renewed) on September 30, 2014. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year: Estimated number of inmates 1: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 1 inmates = 1 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 48 units (per inmate) x 16 inmates = 768 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 16 = 1,152 units; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 6 = 72 units; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 4 inmates = 4 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 4 inmates = 4; Mental Health Individual Counseling 48 units per inmate for 8 inmates = 384 units; Medication Monitoring 1 report per inmate for 4 inmates = 4 Monitorings. Option Year One: Estimated number of inmates 1: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 1 inmates = 1 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 48 units (per inmate) x 17 inmates = 816 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 17 = 1,224 units; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 6 = 72 units; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 5 inmates = 5 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 5 inmates = 5; Mental Health Individual Counseling 48 units per inmate for 10 inmates = 480 units; Medication Monitoring 1 report per inmate for 5 inmates = 5 Monitorings.. Option Year Two: Estimated number of inmates 2: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 48 units (per inmate) x 18 inmates = 864 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 18 = 1,296 units; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 7 = 84 units; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 5 inmates = 5 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 5 inmates = 5; Mental Health Individual Counseling 48 units per inmate for 10 inmates = 480 units; Medication Monitoring 1 report per inmate for 5 inmates = 5 Monitorings. Option Year Four: Estimated number of inmates 2: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 48 units (per inmate) x 19 inmates = 912 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 19 = 1,368 units; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 7 = 84 units; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 6 inmates = 6 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 6 inmates = 6; Mental Health Individual Counseling 48 units per inmate for 12 inmates = 576 units; Medication Monitoring 1 report per inmate for 6 inmates = 6 Monitorings. The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated March 2009. The request for quotation will be available on or after June 17, 2009 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about July 15, 2009. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. All responsible business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency.
