- Contractors, Statement of Work Required on the contract. Beale AFB intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract (FFP) for Pauli Systems Paint/ Blast Booth Maintenance and Repair. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns and is under NAICS 811310 with a size standard of $7 Million. The RFQ is for a base year plus four option years. The entire solicitation (Number: FA4686-09-T-0007) will be made available on the Government Point of Entry (GPE), Fedbizops (FBO) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about 5 June 2009. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the website: FBO, to Vendors to Agency acronym: USAF, Air Combat Command, Locations, 9 CONS, Beale AFB, CA. Paper copies will not be available. You may download the solicitation and fax or email your quote in as required in the solicitation. Telephone and fax requests for the solicitation will not be honored. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates / amendments to any and all documents. All prospective Offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code). Quotes are due no later than 1700/5:00pm (PST) Friday, 19 June 2009. Contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors must fill out Reps and Certs and send in with their quote. FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services: (a)The Government may require continued performance of any services within the limits and at the rates specified in the contract. These rates may be adjusted only as a result of revisions to prevailing labor rates provided by the Secretary of Labor. The option provision may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of performance hereunder shall not exceed 6 months. The Contracting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the Contractor within 60 days. FAR 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract: (a) The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor within 60 days provided that the Government gives the Contractor a preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least 60 days before the contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension.(b) If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause.(c) The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed 5 years.
