Description
Governance Advisor Solicitation Documents W91B4N-09-T-0038 The CJTF-82 Commander (CG) requires a bilingual-bicultural Governance Advisor (GA) to provide direct support to the Commander at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.. The GA, preferably of Afghan descent/background, should possess demonstrated knowledge and experience of, Afghan culture, politics, government, US-Afghan military/Government mission and programs, and US programs implemented in Afghanistan. The GA will serve as an Afghan cultural advisor provide/conduct cultural awareness training to the CG and the CG staff, provide timely assessments, advice, and assistance within host nation, the Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA), on all matters concerning governance, cultural and developmental programs/policy matters. The GA advisor will facilitate better understanding and help to improve relations between the United States of America and Afghanistan. The GA shall serve the CJTF-82 personnel on location in Afghanistan pursuant to its entire mission. While this Statement of Work (SoW) provides specific areas of technical expertise, it should be understood that the mission and evolving situation in Afghanistan requires a degree of flexibility on the part of the GA and the government in a dynamic environment.
