Description
GSA American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Forum Thursday, June 25, 2009 9:00 AM to 12 Noon (CST) Will Rogers Memorial Center 3401 W. Lancaster Avenue Fort Worth, TX 76107 We invite you to the GSA Stimulus Forum to learn the latest information about GSA’s implementation of Recovery Plan projects and initiatives that will take place in our five-state region, which includes Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. We will begin the Forum with an overview of GSA’s Recovery Plan and provide the location, funding, project descriptions and timing on the 33 projects slated for action across this region. Since the Recovery Plan is meant to stimulate the economy as quickly as possible, many of these projects will be carried out by current GSA contractors. However, there will still be a number of prime and subcontracting opportunities available for new contractors. We will also provide useful information on participating in GSA’s Schedule Program and teaming arrangements. The Forum will conclude with a question and answer session with GSA contracting officers and project managers. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 funds measures necessary to convert Federal facilities into high-performance green buildings. GSA will renovate and construct Federal buildings, courthouses and land ports of entry. We are looking for cost effective, high quality and environmentally friendly commercial products and services. There is no cost to attend the Forum, but we ask you to pre-register by sending an e-mail to R7smallbiz@gsa.gov with the following information. The parking is FREE. •Company Name: •Address: •Representative(s): •Telephone Number: •E-Mail Address: •Web Site Address: •Core Business: For questions/concerns, you may contact Mr. Albert Garza at 817-978-2828 or Ms. LaVida Barnes at 817-978-0800.
