- RECOVERY - THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS PROJECT WILL BE FUNDED THROUGH THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT 2009. This opportunity is available only to contractors that are on the Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc) contract for the State of Kansas, excluding the Kansas City Metropolitan area. The FSC code is Z111, the NAICS code is 238220 and the size standard is $14,000,000. The following work that that will take place at the Wichita Courthouse, 401 N. Market Street, Wichita, KS 67202, includes, but is not limited to: installation of high performance HVAC components in the building which will both decrease energy consumption and operational cost. Some or all of the following will be included: high efficiency off-hours/part-load chiller, high-efficiency hot water boilers to replace majority of existing steam boiler capacity, new high performance air handling units for Floors 2 - 5, air distribution system upgrades, including new variable air volume (VAV) devices and controls. Estimated cost of construction is between $5,000,000 - $10,000,000. Estimated issuace of solicitation is 06/10/2009. Esimtated receipt of proposal is 6/24/2009.
