- NASA/JSC has a requirement for:A quantity of 28, ACT5028-202-2S 16 Bit Monolithic Tracking Rad Hard Resolver-to-DigitalConverters, Part # 5962-0423502KXA.A quantity of 25, 16 Bit Monolithic Tracking Rad Hard Resolver-to Digital Converters,Class C, Commercial Temperature Range, O to + 70 C testing, Part # ACT5028-2-2-7.The procurement is subject to FAR 9.2 and NFS Part 1809.2, Qualification Requirements.NASA/JSC intends to purchase the items from Aeroflex Plainview because they are the onlyQualified Manufacturer for these parts on the Qualified Manufacturer List (QML) forMIL-PRF-38534.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 2:30 p.m. local timeon June 15, 2009. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
