- Department of Veterans Affairs, North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System, Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center, Gainesville, FL, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Architect/Engineering services for an A/E to conduct a study for Project 573-09-109, Life Safety Code Feasibility Study. This project will provide a complete Statement of Conditions (SOC) document satisfying the Joint Commission (JCAHO) requirements for compliance with the Life Safety Code (LSC), latest edition. Interested firms shall have the capability of engaging all additional disciplines as necessary to provide a complete proposal. Estimated cost range for this study is $100,000-$250,000. NAICS code for this project is 541330. This is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set Aside. Potential contractors must be registered in CCR (www.ccr.gov) and Vet Biz (www.vetbiz.gov) at time of submission of their qualifications in order to be considered for an award. Area of consideration: Firms must be within a 200 mile radius of the VAMC, Gainesville, FL. Please submit your qualifications and past performance data on SF330 (architect-engineer qualifications).
