- In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the 'Act'), Public Law111-5, this notice is provided for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) intends to modify established contract 06HQCN0003 awarded to CTA, Incorporated to include provisions and requirements for the Act. This contract provides A&E technical services to improve the quality and effectiveness of all aspects of the USGS facilities operation and management program, improve and expand the use of value engineering, sustainable practices, and green acquisitions in project planning and design; improve facility planning, project development and project cost estimating and control; improve the facility deferred maintenance and capital improvement programs, as well as the facility maintenance and asset management systems, improve the design and construction management of capital improvement and major rehabilitation and repair projects. Contract 06HQCN0003 is one of three IDIQ contracts for A&E services, awarded January 2006 with a base year and four - one year options. We are presently in Option Year Three. Option Year Four ends December 31, 2010. The government awarded 3 contracts with an aggregate value of $3,000,000.00 over a five year period. Each contract carries a guaranteed minimum of $5,000.00 over the life of the contract. Task orders will be issued on a fixed-price. Place of performance is throughout the United States, it territories, and possessions. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the Act. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract.
