Small Business Set-Aside: N/A
Description: This amendment to the above reference solicitation is initiated to incorporate the following changes: 1. The last sentence of the first paragraph that states: " Professional certifications to practice engineering and architecture is requires in every state in each of the areas for which the firm is submitting Standard Form 330 (SF 330)" is deleted. 2. It is replace with the following: "Firms submitting proposals under this announcement must present in their proposals that they have the necessary certifications for all states in Region 5 of the U.S. Fish and Willife Service." 3. The certification coverage for any state can be accomplished through sub-contracting or partnering with certified firms in states for which your firm does not hold the necessary certifications. 4. Large businesses can meet Small Business utilization requirements by partnering or sub-contracting with small businesses in states in which your firm does not have the proper certifications. Large business firms that have all the necessary certifications, within their firm, for all states in Region 5, do not need to meet the requirements to utilized a small business plan in there proposal. Please address this issue in your proposal. 5. The due date for Request for Proposal is extended to 17 July, 2009 at 4:00P.M.
