- Description
- QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS TO HSFEHQ-09-R-0066 This is the last day to post questions for this solicitation. A revised Q&A will be sent out to accommodate any new questions around 4pm EST today (June 10, 2009). Thank you. 1.) FEMA has allowed some of the pages in the proposals to be 11 x 17 which could be counted as 2 pages. Could I assume that for the current RFP, HSFEHQ-09-R-0066? Answer: Yes, if you submit a page as 11x17 it will be counted as 2 pages. 2.) If for some reason the file size is too large for email, can I drop off a CD containing the documents in your office by the Friday, June 12th deadline? Answer: Yes. Proposals may be dropped off to Patriots Plaza 395 E Street, SW- WDC 20472 (NLT close date/time). Go to the security desk and ask them to call me (202-646-4327). Follow guidance in the solicitation for mail correspondence. 3.) It is indicated in the SOW that current contract was to run to October 2009. a. Why is it being re-competed at this time? b. Is the incumbent eligible to re-bid? If not, why? Answer: The first task order for the contract is suppose to end in October 2009 (this may be pushed back to November since we posted this RFP a month later). But the overall contract is from date of award through 12 months, with 4 option year periods that may or may not be exercised. This is a new requirement for the government, so there is no incumbent. 4.) Does FEMA intend to extend the proposal submission deadline? Answer: No.
