- Description
- The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of Procurement Services intends to conduct a full and open competition for the services of a contractor to conduct original research on the incentives created by international trade policy for countries to improve labor rights and the economic impacts of such improvement. This requirement is in support of the DOL, International Labor Affairs Bureau (ILAB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541720 and the Small Business Size Standard is $7.0 million. It is anticipated that the award will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract. DOL anticipates the resulting contract award to be for a period of twelve (12) months. DOL expects to issue the Request for Proposals (RFP) on or about June 25, 2009 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). The required receipt date and time for proposals will be included in the RFP. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring FedBizOpps to ensure their access to the most current information available on this acquisition. No telephone calls will be accepted.
