- The purpose of this announcement is to obtain market research on vendors who are interested, and capable of providing, contract support services to facilitate their efforts to develop a governance model and standard operating procedures in support of an Interagency Geospatial Program. Envisioned to support this effort is a comprehensive analysis of key stakeholders involved in the production and use of Geospatial products generated in support of the U.S. Forest Service’s Wildland Fire Mission. Efforts would include: conducting stakeholder interviews, reviewing current Geospatial Interagency processes and policies, technologies and supporting current and future network infrastructures. Additionally, mapping those results into a framework that will enable the U.S. Forest Service to define roles and responsibilities, ownership of geospatial programs, and integrate tool and data standards into a future Geospatial Interagency Warehouse.
