Description
Attached is the complete solicitation. Site visit information must be received NLT 24 June 2009 1. Action Code: Combined Synposis & Solicitation Notice 2. Date: 11 June 2009 3. Contracting Office Address: Defense Supply Center Richmond ATTN: DSCR-VICA 8000 Jefferson Davis Highway Richmond, VA 23297 4. Title: Paint Stripper 5. Response Date: July 13, 2009 6. Solicitation Number: SPM4A8-09-R-0039 10. Description: Paint Stripper and Carbon Removal System quantity 1 (one), in accordance with Purchase Description DSCR-FAPBB-08-30-1010 dated 8 December 2008. The order will be for one (1) Paint Stripper & Carbon Removal System which will be used as follows: The Paint Stripper is used to strip paint off aircraft parts, clean parts and filter off paint debris to extend the life of the solution. The equipment will be used for Air Force airplanes general accessories such as heat exchangers and coolers. This procurement is for the base machine installation, removal of the old tank system, training operational and maintenance manuals installation manuals and delivery. An option will be included in the solicitation which may or made not be made of the contract but customer has the option and the option must be exercised prior to the final delivery. QAP 208 is used for this requirement. This requirement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside requiring the product to be domestically manufactured by a small business. The award will be made as a firm fixed price contract. The required performance period is 126 calendar days after receipt of contract. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Intranet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP. FOB at Destination and Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. Solicitation will be posted on the DLA Intranet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/solicitations to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This is a Combines Synposis and solicitation notice. The solicitation details (including the technical requirements) will be is attached and posted on DIBBS 12 June 2009. 13. Archiving Policy: Automatic / 15 days after response date.
