Description
This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A BRAND NAME contract for Becker Model U4.100F Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps using Federal Acquision Regulation FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This will be an acquisition under the authority of the test program for commercial items section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Contracting Center, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-3013 has a requirement to procure the following items: CLIN 0001 2 each Becker Model U4.100F Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps, includes inlet filters, Diester Lubicant, and internal check valves. Installation of same including all material, freight, and labor The intended delivery date for the items is 30 June 2009. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333912 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. All responses received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 2:00 PM DST Eastern Time, Monday, June 22, 2009. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in this and future procurements. For questions concerning this Notice of Intent, contact Ginger Babcock, ginger.babcock@us.army.mil. Posting date of this requirement is June 12, 2009. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
