- The United States Special Operations Command, Special Operations Forces Survival, Support and Equipment Systems office is providing industry access to the 117F, PSC5, 148 and VIC 2 radio and ICS systems in support of the Modular Integrated Communications Helmet Program vicinity Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. It is anticipated that radios will have fills and will be capable of testing in secure mode. Each company desiring access will be permitted one day from 16-30JUL09. Slots are on a first come first serve basis. Vendors that have communications headset products, are intending on participating in the MICH solicitation and desire to test them on any of the platforms tested should reply to the following no later than 30JUN09 with Your Company Name HIT JUL09 in the subject line: Gene.Beal@us.army.mil Detailed instructions will be provided upon receipt of contact with the above. This special notice is for information purposes only, does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U. S. Government. The Government implies not intention or opportunity to acquire funding to support current or future development efforts. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. Your participation is voluntary, lack of participation does not effect future solicitations and the government will not incur any costs due to your participation.
