Description
DOL WAGE RATES for Miami, FL SOW for Janitorial Services Request for Quotation for janitorial services. This requirement is a combined synopsis/solicitation that the U.S. Department of Commerce, National Hurricane Center (NHC) and the Weather Forecast Office (WFO) is in need of a contractor that can provide janitorial services 5 days a week (Monday through Friday), at the NHC/WFO located at 11691 S.W. 17th Street, Miami, Florida. The contractor will be responsible for providing Janitorial services 5 days per week (Monday through Friday) at the NHC/ WFO Miami, FL for the base period July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2014, with four 12 month option periods. The contractor shall be responsible for satisfactorily managing and performing janitorial services including but not limited to the following services: 1) Sweep or dust mop all uncarpeted floor; 2) Vacuum all carpeted floors; 3) Vacuum or clean indoor and outdoor entrance mats; 4) Empty all wastebaskets and containers and remove to outside container. Replace plastic liners when soiled or torn. In case of leakage damp wipe receptacle clean; 4) Wet mop restroom floors with disinfectant solution. Wash, clean and disinfect toilets and urinals; 5) Refill all dispensers and containers in restrooms and break room; 6) Clean countertops and sinks in restrooms. Clean countertop (including behind microwave), sink and table in break room; 7) Clean drinking fountain; 8) Clean cigarette receptacle, if needed. Contractor will be responsible for supplying all equipment, materials, and supplies (i.e., brooms, brushers, wiping, polishing, treated and untreated dusting cloths, wet mops, sweep mops, sponges, squeegees, paper towels, toilet tissue, hand soap, porcelain ware cleaner, plastic bag liners for sanitary napkin disposal receptacles and wastebaskets, liquid and powder detergents, glass cleaner, etc.) which are of good commercial value and are acceptable to the duly appointed official(s). These supplies are to be properly stored in an area designated by the appointed official(s). Services to be performed under this contract shall be performed during hours approved by the appointed official(s). Inspection and acceptance of work will be done by the appointed official or a designated representative. The NAICS code for this action is 561720. This service is being procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition Procedures. The Kansas City Eastern Region Acquisition Division requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
