- The VA Medical Center, 830 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, RI is seeking sources to provide Cable Television Services to the main medical center building (60 units) as well as outer free standing buildings and trailers within the VA Campus. This is a Market Survey to request potential sources to determine a set-aside. The proposed contract will have a twelve-month base period beginning on or about 10/1/2009 through 9/30/2010, with four (4) one (1) year option years. The NAICS code is 517510. Cable service must include but is not limited to the following channels: i.UPN ii.ABC iii.PBS iv.FOX v.NBC vi.CBS vii.FIT TV viii.TNT ix.CNN Headline News x.USA xi.A&E xii.History Channel xiii.Discovery Health Channel xiv.TBS xv.Fox News xvi.TBN xvii.NESN xviii.ESPN xix.2 programmable channels for VA specific information. Service can be provided thru the current infrastructure or potential vendors may offer new infrastructure that can be installed with minimal cost and disruption to the VA Medical Center. An example of the current infrastructure is attached for informational purposes. All responsible interested sources are encouraged to submit their capabilities in regard to the above no later than June 24, 2009. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. Please include your company name, address, telephone number, technical point of contact and qualifications. Sources interested in this acquisition should adequately describe their technical capability and past experience providing Cable Services. Interested sources should ensure that registration in CCR is current and accurate. This is a market survey for informational and planning purposes only. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION. Please be advised that the Government will not pay for any information submitted under this announcement.
