Description
This is a competitive Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside procurement. This will result in an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC). A Single Award will be made to a SDVOSB firm that is certified under VETSBIZ as a SDVOSB firm. The procurement will consist of Construction and Design Build Construction in Anchorage, Alaska for the Department of Veterans Affairs. The NAICS Code is 236220 and the size standard is $33.5. The task orders will be for both American Recovery and Reinvestment Act projects and non stimulus projects. The duration of the contract will for maximum of (5) years; with a base period of one year and four option years. The maximum order will be for $3 Million per year with a total of $5 million over five years. The minimum for each contract is $1,000 and the minimum for each awarded task order is $2,000. There is one go-no-go specification prior to a best value evaluation. Contractors must currently or previously (within the past 2 years) have been approved/cleared and have/had an Elmendorf AFB base security clearance and performed construction work, as the same type and size as the "seed project" within this solicitation, on the Elmendorf AFB. After passing this go-no-go requirement, selection for award will be based on best value evaluation factors which may include past performance, experience and price. A pre-proposal conference will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009. All interested contractors and subcontractors must meet at the Elmendorf AFB Boniface gate at 0930 to be signed in and escorted by the US Veterans Administration Contracting Officer. Solicitation plans and specifications are available for viewing and/or downloading via access through the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website located at http://www.fbo.gov. The Contractor is responsible for checking the website daily for any posted changes to the pre-solicitation or the solicitation.
