Description
RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912P909R0743. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District, is seeking firms to provide installation of relief wells at various locations along the levees within the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District. The Contractor shall provide the above in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications in the solicitation/contract. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. The basis for award will be Best Value utilizing Performance-Price Trade-off (PPT) technique. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements and will provide the best value to the government considering recent and relevant past/present performance and price. The government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. The magnitude of this project is more than $10,000,000.00. The NAICS code for this requirement is 237110. The SBA size standard is 33.5 Millions. The contract duration will be one Base Year and one Option Year. This acquisition is issued as a competitive 8 (a) Set-Aside. The Solicitation will be available on or about July 15, 2009 and there will be a total of three 8(a) Set-Asides awarded. Contractors may view and /or download the solicitation with all amendments from the Internet at the following address: www.mvs.usace.army.mil. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/offeror preparation costs. Be advised that all interested parties MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database and have completed On-Line Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) in order to receive a contract award.
