Description
NSN(s) 4730-01-468-8025 Estimated Yearly Quantity 119 Unit of Issue: EA Item and Part Number#: CHARGING WAND ASSEMBLY. SCOTT TECHNOLOGIES (15927) P/N 200150-03 All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN for the various end items. This proposed procurement includes an item within the Federal Supply Class 4730. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order for which delivery orders may be placed for one (1) year. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for a 3Z code and part numbered item. This AMSC code implies that this is a Commercial Off The Shelf Item. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period four times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. This solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted and other than full and open competition. The solicitation will be available in DIBBS on 15 June 2009 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. **DLA INTERNET BID BOARD SYSTEM (DIBBS) QUOTATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR THIS SOLICITATION**. YOU MUST COMPLETE THE ENTIRE SOLICITATION. QUOTES MUST BE SUBMITTED ON HARD COPY OF THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTE AND FAXED TO 614-693-1557. •Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Addendum to Clause FAR 52.212-01 (c) is changed to read "Period for acceptance of offers: The offeror agrees to hold the price in its offer firm for 60 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers, unless another time period is specified in an addendum to the solicitation". •Item will be evaluated on an “all or none” basis, by NSN. Quotes will be evaluated on the basis of price, past performance, and delivery. •Provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and offerors must include a completed copy of the provision with its offer. •Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions—Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Addendum to Clause FAR 52.212-4 para (o) is changed to read "The Contractor warrants and implies that the items delivered hereunder are merchantable and fit for use for the particular purpose described in this contract.
