- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for RFQ F2Q3699139A002. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-33. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The associated NAICS code is 811310 with a $7M size standard. This RFQ contains 15 line items. End Item Description. Langley AFB Fire Department requires semi-annual maintenance for three compressed breathing air equipment units assigned: Bauer Model DDTR26-WAF, Trailer #1 - Bauer Model DDTR26-WAF, Trailer #2 - Eagle Model BAPZPTH3, Fire Station. The contractor shall provide standard local service Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm, local time, except for holidays. The contractor shall be available for 24 hour response to emergency service calls. The contractor shall provide a semi-annual maintenance schedule for Langley AFB Fire Departments three compressed air equipment units. Maintenance Service Includes: Change oil when necessary, check and record stage pressures, check and record temperatures, inspect and replace fill whips if required, correct any leaks, inspect valves @ 500 hours, replace valves @ 2,000 hours, clean or change final separator elements annually, change air inlet filters, replace purification filters annually, clean and inspect units, replace oil filters. The contractor is responsible for the removal and disposal of spent preventive maintenance parts, lubricants, and filters. Equipment shall be maintained to manufacturer specifications to the maximum extent possible subject to age, prior maintenance and use, suitability of purpose and existing installation to manufacturer and local code standards. The contractor shall provide names of technicians needing base access for entrance purposes. The contractor/technician shall have valid driver's license and proof of insurance in order to gain base access. The Government will be responsible for sponsoring contract personnel for base access. The Government is not required to furnish anything other than the equipment being serviced. Contractor will furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, and transportation necessary to keep compressed air equipment in operational condition. PROVISIONS/CLAUSES.
