Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W58RGZ-06-C-0194. This is a Sole Source requirement to EADS North America Defense Company, 1616 North Ft Myer Dr, Suite 1500, Arlington, VA 22209-3100. EADS-NA owns the proprietary rights to the design of this aircraft. EADS-NA is the sole source provider for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) and other associated services for the UH-72A. All maintenance and maintenance related actions associated with the UH-72A are provided by EADS through the competitively awarded services contract to include aircraft modifications. The Government has a need to enhance the interior of the cabin to minimize any obstruction that is caused by the medical equipment and allow flight medical attendants to maneuver around the cabin and improve their ability to perform medical duties during MEDEVAC missions. The Government requires the establishment of a new priced option CLIN for retrofit of fielded aircraft in PYs 04-10 for up to seventy (70) aircraft with the MEDEVAC MEP. The MEDEVAC MEP consists of a window rack, overhead IV rails, oxygen bottle mounts (2), Teflon strips on the litter rails, rear window accessory bar, D-rings (8), ancra fittings (4) for right side hard points, and tail/rear cabin external lighting on MEDEVAC aircraft. The Contractor shall provide maintenance and technical support in the retrofit of the MEDEVAC MEP modification. The Contractor shall install the MEDEVAC MEP retrofit in accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) processes and procedures. The Contractor shall provide a return to service statement certifying the aircraft is fully mission capable (FMC) post retrofit.
