Description: Provide a fire and intrusion alarm system at the Rainy Lake Visitor Center (located in Koochiching County) and Kabetogama Visitor Center (located in St. Louis County) at Voyageurs National Park near International Falls, MN. The work includes all material, labor, tools, expandable equipment, utility and transportation services, and all incidental items necessary to perform and complete the fire alarm, intrusion alarm, and electrical work for the projects as described in the project manual and drawings attached to the solicitation. A pre-bid site visit is required of all bidders. Contract completion date is 100 days after Notice to Proceed is issued. This contract is subject to Davis Bacon wages. The NAICS code for this contract is 238210-Electrical contractors and other wiring installation contractors. This contract is issued under the Competitive Demonstration Program and is open to all business sizes. The Contracting Officers Representative is Maintenance Foreman Bill Carlson, Voyaguers (218-283-6624); the Contracting Officers Technical Representative is Civil Engineer Randy Correll, Midwest Regional Office (402-661-1782).
