This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) number W53W9L400B221 in accordance with FAR 52.219-6, this requirement is 100% Set Aside for Small Business, Service Didsabled, Veteran Owned, (SBSDVO) concerns. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24. The Standard Industrial Class is 3416; NAICS is 423510; Small Business Standard is 500 employees: Any resultant contract shall be Firm-Fixed Price, and one award is anticipated. IAW FAR 52.247-34, shipping is FOB Destination; Inspection and Acceptance is at Destination, Crane Army Ammunition Activity Receiving Bldg 148, Crane, IN 47522. Contractor shall provide a quantity of (400) (ea); 3.5 IN. od x.375 in. wall thickness x 12 ft long, 6061 T6, ASTM B221. Aluminum shall be hot extruded or by similar method at the option of the producer, provided that the resulting product complies with requirements of specification ASTM B221. Vendor shall specify type. A technical evaluation shall be required in order to evaluate contractors quote per ASTM B221. Required Delivery is 25AUG09. Partial shipments may be accepted. Shipment must include an original invoice, packing slip, and original material certification.
