Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number EN133F-09-RQ-0645 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-31. This procurement is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423860 with a small business size standard of 100 employees or less. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service, Fishery Sampling Branch requires the following items: Item 0001: Quantity of 6 Valise Life Rafts in accordance with below specifications. Product(s) must meet or exceed the below specification standards : Double buoyancy chambers (2 separate rings); Polyurethane coated fabric; USCG approved for commercial fishing vessels 12-20 miles offshore; 4 man capacity; Valise style; Weight under 75 lbs.; Inflatable/insulated floor; Covered canopy with closures; Coastal equipment pack (or equivalent); External locator light; Righting straps; Ballast pockets; External life lines; Boarding ladder; Rescue line and quoit; Knife by door; FOB Destination The required delivery date is no later than July 27, 2009. All quotes shall be FOB Destination to Technology Park, Building #25-Bernard St. Jean Drive, East Falmouth, MA 02536. This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Additionally, each offeror must obtain, and provide with the quote, their nine-digit Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number.
