THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W81K0009R0025. Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas has a requirement for the purchase of Custom Open Heart Surgery Perfusion Packs utilized to keep blood circulating in the patients body while surgeons perform heart bypass surgery. Period of performance is from date of award through 30 Sep 2010 with two one-year options. This procurement is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12. This requirement is unrestricted basis for NAICS 334510, standard size 500 employees. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal applies to this requirement. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. Solicitation Number W81K00-09-R-0025 will issue on or about 20 July 2009 and will be available at http: //acqusition.army.mil/asfi/gov.
