Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place 6 sole-source firm fixed price orders under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-05-G-0026 with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC) (A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company) of St. Louis, Missouri 63166, for the procurement of six (6) F/A-18 ECPs including: ECP-6239R1: Pricing to procure 72 AFC-535 A1 kits, and an option to procure an additional 72 AFC-535 A1 kits. ECP-6239R1 is the FT50 18K Fuselage Outboard Former at Y679 Failure - Retrofit Solution ECP-6247R1:Pricing to procure 72 AFC-518 A1 kits, and an option to procure an additional 91 AFC-518 A1 kits. ECP-6247R1 is the FT50 18K Y520 Former Cracks at Lower Drop Link ECP-6303R1: Pricing to procure 72 AFC-516 A1 kits, and an option to procure an additional 72 AFC-516 A1 kits. ECP-6304R1: Pricing to procure 72 AFC-519 A1 kits, and an option to procure an additional 72 AFC-519 A1 kits. ECP-6304R1 is the FT50 18K Web and Wing Drag Longeron Redesign ECP-6306R1:Pricing to procure 72 AFC-517 A1 kits, and an option to procure an additional 72 AFC-517 A1 kits. ECP-6306R1 is the FT50 18K Y618 Inboard Former (74A342314) Redesign ECP-6266: Pricing to procure 159 AFC-480 A2 kits. ECP-6266 is the FT50 18K Y555.5 and Y568 Former Cracks atKeel Longeron Life Limit Projected period of performance for the six ECPs are 1 February 2010 through 1 February 2012. MDC is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the F/A-18E/F aircraft in its various configurations and is the only source with the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary to accomplish this effort. Any interested party must have the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary accomplish this effort within schedule requirements. Any respondent must also submit a Statement of Qualifications to demonstrate respondent’s ability to perform to the Government’s needs within the required response time.
