Description
Request for quote (RFQ) to provide lodging in New Orleans, LA (70130) during 26 June 6 July 2009. Notice Type: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued using simplified acquistion procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12, 13 and 15. In addition, this solicitation incorporates all provisions and clause in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular. This solicitation is unrestricted and the associated NAICS code is 721110 and small business size standard is $6.5 million. The solicitation number for this request for quotation (RFQ) is W91NNE9161P401. Specification: US Army Accessions Command has a requirement for lodging participants in the Essence Music Festival located in the New Orleans, Louisiana, 70130 during the period 26 June 2009 through 6 July 2009. Contractor shall provide lodging, standard rooms, single occupancy and a suite to be used as a command center are a part of this acquisition. Contractor shall provide all the rooms as follows: 4 STANDARD ROOMS, SINGLE OCCUPANCY REQUIRED ON 26 JUN 09; 4 STANDARD ROOMS, SINGLE OCCUPANCY REQUIRED ON 27 JUN 09; 17 STANDARD ROOMS, SINGLE OCCUPANCY REQUIRED ON 28 JUN 09; 22 STANDARD ROOMS, SINGLE OCCUPANCY REQUIRED ON 29 JUN 09; 32 STANDARD ROOMS, SINGLE OCCUPANCY REQUIRED ON 30 JUN 09; 39 STANDARD ROOMS, SINGLE OCCUPANCY REQUIRED ON 1 JUL 09; 80 STANDARD ROOMS, SINGLE OCCUPANCY REQUIRED ON 2 JUL 09; 89 STANDARD ROOMS, SINGLE OCCUPANCY REQUIRED ON 3 JUL 09; 79 STANDARD ROOMS, SINGLE OCCUPANCY REQUIRED ON 4 JUL 09; 72 STANDARD ROOMS, SINGLE OCCUPANCY REQUIRED ON 5 JUL 09; 4 STANDARD ROOMS, SINGLE OCCUPANCY REQUIRED ON 6 JUL 09 FOR A TOTAL OF 442 ROOM NIGHTS and 1 SUITE, SINGLE OCCUPANCY REQUIRED ON 2 JULY TO 3 JULY 09 FOR A TOTAL OF 2 ROOM NIGHTS. Room rates shall include night lodging taxes, but shall not include sales taxes. EVALUATION FACTORS: The contract type for this procurement will be fixed price and award will be made based on best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. Selection will be based on the following evaluation factors: (1) Offerors capability to provide the required accommodations that meet the Governments needs at one location; (2) Proximity to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (no more than 1/2 miles); (3) Past performance on contracts of a similar nature (4) Total cost or price. APPLICABLE PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES: The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference.
