- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Hampton, Virginia (VAMC Hampton) is seeking a potential contract hospital to provide qualified professionals who are experience in the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with moderate or severe psychiatric disorders, consistent with professional licensure laws, regulations and certifications. The contracting hospital will provide routine inpatient psychiatric care to patients having moderate to severe behavioral problems and/or experiencing withdrawals from drugs/alcohol including a moderate to high risk suicide, assaultiveness, agitation, disorganized behavior disorders and/or symptoms of withdrawal. Care may include psychiatric evaluation and treatment, pharmacotherapy, continuous nursing care and observation, inpatient case management, psychological testing and evaluation, psycho educational sessions, and individual, conjoint, group, and activity therapies. The facility where these services are to be performed must be within a thirty (30) mile or less radius of the VAMC Hampton. The NAICS code for this requirement is 621111. This is a sources sought notice only. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this notice should include the following: Name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories.
