- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health treatment services, within a fifteen-mile radius of 325 Alabama Street, Ludlow, Massachusetts. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period estimated to begin on October 1, 2009 with four (4) one-year option periods, with service ending (if all options years are renewed) on September 30, 2014. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year: Estimated number of inmates 5: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 5 inmates = 5 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 5 = 120 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 5 = 360 units; Psychiatric Health Intake and Assessment (one per inmate) for 1 inmate = 1 unit; Individual Mental Health Counseling ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 units per inmate for 1 inmate = 24 units. Group Mental Health Counseling ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units per inmate for 1 inmate = 12 units. Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report(one per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2 units; Medication Monitoring (2 units per inmate) for 2 inmates = 4 units; Psychotropic Medication = 10 units. Option Year One: Estimated number of inmates 6: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 6 inmates = 6 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 6 = 144 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 6 = 432 units; Psychiatric Health Intake and Assessment (one per inmate) for 1 inmate = 1 unit; Individual Mental Health Counseling ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 units per inmate for 1 inmate = 24 units. Group Mental Health Counseling ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units per inmate for 1 inmate = 12 units. Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report (one per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2 units; Medication Monitoring (2 units per inmate) for 2 inmates = 4 units; Psychotropic Medication = 10 units. Option Year Two: Estimated number of inmates 7: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 7 inmates = 7 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 7 = 168 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 7 = 504 units; Psychiatric Health Intake and Assessment (one per inmate) for 2 inmate = 2 units; Individual Mental Health Counseling ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 units per inmate for 2 inmates = 48 units. Group Mental Health Counseling ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units per inmate for 2 inmates = 24 units. Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report (one per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2 units; Medication Monitoring (2 units per inmate) for 2 inmates = 4 units; Psychotropic Medication = 10 units. Option Year Three: Estimated number of inmates 8: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 8 inmates = 8 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 8 = 192 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 8 = 576 units; Psychiatric Health Intake and Assessment (one per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2; Individual Mental Health Counseling ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 units per inmate for 2 inmate = 48 units. Group Mental Health Counseling ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units per inmate for 2 inmates = 24 units. Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report(one per inmate) for 3 inmates = 3 units; Medication Monitoring (2 units per inmate) for 3 inmates = 6 units; Psychotropic Medication = 10 units. Option Year Four: Estimated number of inmates 9: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 9 inmates = 9 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 9 = 216 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 9 = 648 units; Psychiatric Health Intake and Assessment (one per inmate) for 2 inmate = 2 units; Individual Mental Health Counseling ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 units per inmate for 2 inmate = 48 units. Group Mental Health Counseling ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units per inmate for 2 inmate = 24 units. Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report(one per inmate) for 4 inmates = 4 units; Medication Monitoring (2 units per inmate) for 4 inmates = 8 units; Psychotropic Medication = 10 units. The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated March 2009 - Northeast Region. The request for quotation will be available on or after June 24, 2009 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov.
