Description

The United States Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service (ERS) intends to award a sole source requirement to Datamonitor, located in New York, NY. The vendor shall provide access to a searchable, user friendly, new product introduction database extending back 20 years or more that ERS can use to monitor and analyze key developments in the U.S. food and beverage industry. Data shall include the number of new products and associated SKU’s by individual product category for food and nonfood products, information on innovativeness of a new product introduction, along with type of innovation, and description of product claims or tags. Results from data searches shall also be downloadable into Excel spreadsheets. The requested period of performances is as follows: Base Year – July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010 Option Year 1 – July 1, 2010 – June 30, 2011 Option Year 2 – July 1, 2011 – June 30, 2012 Estimated award date will be 6/23/2009.
