- Presolicitation Notice Amendment No. 0004Recovery Act - Canceled Solicitation No. VA245-09-RP-0176 is replaced by Solicitation No. VA-245-09-RA-0206. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a construction contractor to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and design-build services for replacement of the existing nurse call system located at the Department of VA Medical Center, 510 Butler Avenue, Martinsburg, WV. Project Number is 613-09-116. Competition for this procurement is 100% Total small business set-aside. The work includes, but is not limited to, the design-build of a supervised audio-visual VOIP based Nurse Call System to replace existing equipment in building 501 and 4th and 5th floors of Bldg 500. Estimated construction cost range is $500,000 to $1,000,000.00. The firm must be a General Construction firm approved under NAICS: 238210, size standard: $14.0 million. The offeror shall obtain any and all necessary licenses or permits required to perform this work in the State of WV. Prospective contractors must be registered and current in the following websites: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, http://www.ccr.gov, and https://orca.bpn.gov to be eligible for award. Technical and Cost proposals will be accepted from only responsible and responsive contractors. The project duration is expected to be 240 days from the date of receipt of the notice to proceed. Prospective contractors may acquire solicitation documents, which are only available in.pdf electronic format by registering and downloading plans and specifications from the FedBizOpps website www.fbo.gov. Solicitation documents will be available on or about Tuesday, June 16, 2009. The procurement is subject to availability of funds.
