- Solicitation Number: AB133F-09-RB-0027 Notice Type: Pre-Solicitation Notice Synopsis: The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Science (NMFS) Operations, Management, and Information Division (OMID), Honolulu, Hawaii, has a requirement for an exterior building painting and window sub sill replacement. The purpose of this Synopsis is to demonstrate the need for construction services necessary for completing the necessary preparation/repairs to the Main Building and painting the exterior. The exterior of the Main Building includes, but is not limited to the following: exterior perimeter walls; courtyard walls; ceilings; fascias; soffits; trim/wrap boards; pilasters/columns, pilaster/column caps and cap boards; balustrade; windows, frames, and sills; decking; handrails and railing; spindles; treads and risers; stringers, joists and lintels; gutters and downspouts; doors and door frames; louvers; exterior piping and conduit; electrical panel boxes; and security screens/bars. The construction contractor (herein referred to as contractor) will be required to furnish all necessary labor, materials/supplies, equipment, services, and supervision and otherwise do all things necessary for or incidental to the performance of the work set forth in this Statement of Work (SOW). These services include, but are not limited to, the following: initial submittal, storage/handling, preparation, application, cleaning and protection. The resulting contract will have a period of performance of 60 days after Notice-to-Proceed (NTP) is given. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238320 and the size standard is $14 million dollars. The proposed construction magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000 per FAR clause 36.204. All responsible and fully responsive sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Agency. Any resulting contract will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract. Solicitation documents will be made available for download on or after July 10, 2009 at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties should use the FedBizOpps [Add To Watchlist] and [Add Me To Interested Vendors] features which provide a notification when the RFP becomes available for download as well as all postings of information associated with this solicitation, thereafter. Each potential offeror is responsible for checking the FedBizOpps website to gain all current information related to the solicitation.
