- NOTICE: NOTICE OF CONTRACTING ACTION PART: U.S. GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENTS SUBPART: SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT, AND MATERIAL CLASSCOD: 5996 OFFADD: AFFTC/PKEE Directorate of Contracting, 5 S. Wolfe Ave., Edwards AFB, CA 93524 SUBJECT: Signal Conditioning Amplifier (100C to = 100C, 50 Ohms) REF NO.: F1S0AF9071B002 DUE: 29 June 09 POC: Betty A. Ellis, 661-277-7707 DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to ROSEMOUNT AEROSPACE INC. /GOODRICH SENSOR SYSTEM 1256 Trapp Road, Eagen, MN. 55121, on a non-competitive basis. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 335999. REQUIREMENT: Model 0510GA1A4, Signal Conditioning Amplifiers These devices must have a high accuracy and reliability, output-supply voltage isolation and linear analog output for Platinum Resistance Thermometer (PRT). SPECIFICATIONS: -PRT Compatibility: Ice point of 50, 100 or 500 ohms -Temperature coefficient (a) of.00385,.00390,.003915 or.003925 ACCURACY: -Signal conditioner output will be within +/-025% of full scale (FS) for all inputs. Accuracy is based on root-sum-squared (RSS) summation of the following error components: • Long-term stability: 0.05% FS(max) • Repeatability: 0.1% FS (max) • Linearity: 0.15% FS (based on least-squares method) • Temperature Sensitivity: 0.002% FS/degrees centigrade (max) • Supply Sensitivity: 0.01% FS/volt (max) MOMENTARY POWER INTERRUPTION: Automatic recovery SIGNAL CONDITIONER TEMPERATURE RANGE: -Operating: -54o C to +71o C (-65o F to +160o F) -Storage: -65o C to +125o C (-85o F to +257o F) RELIABILITY: Mean time Between Failure (MTBF) is greater than 100,000 hours (based on MIL-HDBK-217E). MAINTAINABILITY: No scheduled maintenance. Signal conditioner can be repaired and recalibrated. ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS: -Input Voltage: 28 VDC (nominal) 22-32 VDC -Power Requirements: 2 watts (max) -Output Voltage: 0-5 VDC (nominal) -Output Load: 5000 ohms (minimum) -Output Isolation: 150K ohms (minimum) from the supply voltage WEIGHT: 7.2 ounces maximum Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12.
