Description
Seating Layout Document RFQ Document This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-32. This request for quote is not set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 721110. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requires meeting/conference space in support of the NRC’s public workshop to receive stakeholder input on the limited rulemaking planned to address regulation of depleted uranium to be held September 2, 2009, through September 3, 2009, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for approximately 200 people. The conference center shall be within the city limits of Rockville or Bethesda, Maryland. One (1) large meeting room is needed to accommodate 200 individuals on September 2, 2009, through September 3, 2009, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The workshop for both days will be conducted in a roundtable setup with block audience seating. (See attached Seating Layout for more information) The following audio-visual equipment will be made available for each day of the workshop: •Four (4) Easels for flipcharts/posters directing to workshop location •Two (2) Flipcharts with markers •One (1) LCD Projector with powerstrip for laptop computer •One (1) 10’ x 10’ Screen •One (1) Podium with a Wireless Hand Held Microphone Please also provide any applicable lease agreement with your proposal/quote. The NRC is tax exempt federal agency. The copy of the Tax Exempt Certificate will be provided upon award.
